Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in marketing, business, or engineering preferred or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 3 years successful sales experience in electronic or similar industry.
• Highly motivated and success driven.
• Ability to quickly identify and qualify opportunities.
• High degree of self-discipline.
• Experience working with electrical contractors, reading blueprints and wiring diagrams is desirable.
• Computer experience with Microsoft and Oracle programs.

Responsibilities

• Promote and sell Fire Safety Systems to customers and end users within an assigned territory.
• Establish contact with prospects, qualify buyers, and schedule sales calls.
• Develop sales strategy, qualify opportunities, and maintain territory records.
• Conduct seminars and demonstrations to generate and develop leads.
• Prepare proposals, deliver presentations, and follow up to close sales.
• Coordinate with district operations to deliver and improve service.
• Deliver sales against an assigned quota and maintain accounts.
• Report progress and supply metrics weekly and monthly.
• Participate in trade shows and events to increase sales and brand image.
