Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a skilled Fire Systems Sales Representative to promote and sell fire safety systems within an assigned territory and accounts. You will establish contact with prospects, qualify buyers, and develop strategies to win opportunities.

Seminars, proposals, and close collaboration with district operations will be essential to meeting quotas. Preferred candidates hold a bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or engineering and have at least 3 years of sales experience in

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in marketing, business or engineering or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 3 years sales experience in electronics or similar industries.
• Strong motivation and a results-driven mindset.
• Ability to identify and qualify opportunities quickly.
• Self-discipline and proactive work ethic.
• Experience with electrical contractors; blueprints and wiring diagrams desirable.
• Proficiency with Microsoft and Oracle software.

Responsibilities

• Promote and sell Fire Safety Systems to customers and end users in assigned territory.
• Establish contact with prospects, qualify buyers, and schedule sales calls.
• Develop sales strategies to communicate product offerings and prioritize opportunities.
• Conduct seminars and demonstrations to generate and qualify leads.
• Prepare proposals, deliver presentations, and follow up to close sales.
• Coordinate with district operations to improve service delivery and meet quotas.
• Maintain accounts with regular customer contact for repeat sales.
• Report progress and metrics to operations and corporate teams weekly/monthly.
• Participate in trade shows and events to increase sales and brand image.
