Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a scheduling specialist to optimize service work and ensure on-time delivery to customers. You will create technician schedules, communicate with customers and field teams, and monitor branch performance to implement improvement plans.

The role requires strong communication, organization, and computer skills within a fast-paced environment. Experience in scheduling for service industries and knowledge of life safety systems is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2 years customer service experience required.
• Excellent written and communication skills.
• Experience coordinating/scheduling in a service environment.
• Intermediate Excel skills.
• Associates or Bachelors degree preferred.
• Experience working in a Johnson Controls District Office or in a fast-paced environment.
• Use of Oracle systems preferred.
• Product knowledge of life safety equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and optimize service work to meet customer commitments.
• Create technician schedules using the SEDU platform.
• Communicate and resolve scheduling issues with customers and field personnel; alert leadership to problems.
• Monitor branch activity, ensure compliance with programs, and implement action plans with management.
• Prioritize backorders and reassign work to manage customer expectations and workload.
