Johnson Controls, Inc. is seeking a on-site Service Scheduler to receive and schedule customer calls for service, manage technicians’ schedules, and debrief daily to ensure timely preventative maintenance completion.

The role emphasizes clear communication with customers and coordination with Billing and Support teams. The position requires strong organization, attention to detail, and the ability to juggle multiple tasks while maintaining client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; 2–5 years of service operations and/or scheduling experience.
• Strong organizational and attention to detail skills; ability to work independently.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate with internal and external clients.
• Ability to manage a large, diverse set of projects and tasks with tact and persistence.
• Ability to prioritize work based on financial impact and business goals.
• Ability to influence diverse teams to achieve tasks and goals.
• Associate degree is preferred.
• Experience with project accounting or costing principles is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Receive and schedule customer calls for service under direct supervision.
• Coordinate labor scheduling to align technicians with customer needs.
• Communicate action plans and services to customers; ensure work meets expectations.
• Debrief daily with technicians and ensure timely completion of preventative maintenance.
• Maintain up-to-date customer account information in NxGen; support time and expense reporting.
• Attend daily team huddles and weekly planning meetings.
