Job summary

Weston & Sampson seeks a mid-career Mechanical Engineer with 5–15 years of experience to join our Mechanical HVAC and Plumbing team in our New England offices. The role involves producing contract drawings for construction projects and coordinating with multiple disciplines.

The ideal candidate will hold a BS in Mechanical Engineering, be eligible for a PE, and have experience in plumbing, fire protection, and energy-related design, plus proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering; PE licensure or ability to obtain PE in the United States.
• Minimum of 5 years of plumbing, fire protection, mechanical design or energy-related experience.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills; ability to manage multiple projects.
• Active member of relevant industry associations.

Responsibilities

• Engineering and design documentation for new and renovation projects.
• Review shop drawings and generate contract drawings.
• Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams, consultants, vendors and clients.
• Capable of working independently and mentoring junior staff.
