Weston & Sampson Engineers Inc is seeking a mid-career Mechanical Engineer with 5–15 years of experience to join our Mechanical HVAC and Plumbing team in any New England office. This role offers growth and greater project responsibility within a respected, employee-owned firm.

The ideal candidate will hold a BS in Mechanical Engineering, a PE or the ability to obtain one, and experience in plumbing, fire protection, and energy systems.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited program.
• PE license or ability to obtain PE in any U.S. state.
• 5+ years of plumbing, fire protection, mechanical design or energy experience.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
• Experience coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams; independent work capability.
• Willingness to travel in New England and along the East Coast.

Responsibilities

• Engineering and design documentation for new and renovation projects across facility types.
• Field investigation, shop drawing review, reports, and contract drawings production.
• Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams, sub-consultants, utility companies, vendors, and clients.
• Work independently or as part of a multidiscipline team.
