Weston & Sampson invites applications for a mid-career Mechanical Engineer to join our Mechanical HVAC and Plumbing team in our New England offices. The role offers the chance to take on more responsibility on diverse projects in a multi-disciplined firm serving private, public, federal, and municipal sectors.

Candidates should have 5–15 years of relevant plumbing, fire protection, mechanical design or energy experience, a BS in Mechanical Engineering, and the ability to obtain a PE license in

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering.
• PE license or ability to obtain a PE in any US state.
• Minimum of 5 years in plumbing, fire protection, mechanical design or energy-related work.
• Strong verbal and written communication; ability to coordinate across disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Engineering and design documentation for new and renovation projects across diverse facility types.
• Field investigations, shop drawing review, reports and contract drawings.
• Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams, sub-consultants, utilities, vendors, and clients.
• Work independently or as part of a multi-discipline team; supervise junior staff on projects.
