Job summary

Weston & Sampson is seeking a mid-career Mechanical Engineer with 5–15 years of experience to join our Mechanical HVAC and Plumbing team in New England offices. The role focuses on producing contract drawings, coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams, and applying Massachusetts and New England building codes.

You will work on a variety of facilities, both new and renovation, and travel regionally as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant plumbing fire protection, mechanical design and/or energy related experience.
• Strong communication (oral and written) and ability to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Engineering and design documentation for new and renovation projects across facility types.
• Field investigation of existing facilities and production of contract drawings.
• Coordination with multi-disciplinary teams, sub-consultants, vendors, and clients.
• Independently manage workloads and lead junior staff on shared projects.
