Job summary

Weston & Sampson is seeking a mid-career Mechanical Engineer with 5-15 years of experience to join our Mechanical HVAC and Plumbing team in our New England offices. The ideal candidate will work on contract drawings for construction projects and collaborate with multiple disciplines across private, public, federal, and municipal sectors.

• Strong communication skills (oral and written) and ability to stay organized across multiple projects.
• Experience coordinating with multi-discipline teams across local and regional offices.
• Ability to manage multiple complex projects and mentor junior staff.

Responsibilities

• Prepare engineering and design documentation for new and renovated facilities across sectors.
• Perform field investigations, review shop drawings, generate reports, and produce contract drawings.
• Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams, sub-consultants, utility companies, equipment vendors and clients.
• Independently work or as part of a multi-discipline team over the life of projects.
