Job summary

Weston & Sampson is seeking a mid-career Mechanical Engineer to join our Mechanical HVAC and Plumbing team in our New England offices. The candidate will contribute to contract drawings for the construction industry and advance to higher responsibilities within a multi-discipline firm.

Applicants should have a BS in Mechanical Engineering, a PE license (or ability to obtain one in any US state), and at least 5 years of relevant experience including plumbing, fire protection, and energy-related

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering and PE licensure or ability to obtain PE.
• Minimum of 5 years of plumbing fire protection, mechanical design, or energy-related experience.
• Experience with Revit 3D and AutoCAD; strong communication and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare engineering and design documentation for new and renovation projects across varied facilities.
• Review shop drawings, generate reports, and produce contract drawings.
• Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams, sub-consultants, and clients; work independently or in teams.
