Job summary

Weston & Sampson Engineers Inc is seeking a mid-career Mechanical Engineer (5-15 years) to join our Mechanical HVAC and Plumbing team in our New England offices. The role involves producing contract drawings, coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams, and advancing projects from field investigations to design documentation.

The ideal candidate will have PE or the ability to obtain one, Revit and AutoCAD experience, and the ability to manage multiple projects with minimal supervision while

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering required.
• PE license or ability to obtain PE in any US state.
• 5+ years of plumbing, fire protection or mechanical design experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams.
• Willingness to travel regionally in New England.

Responsibilities

• Engineering and design documentation for new and renovation projects across facility types.
• Design includes field investigations, shop drawings, reports, and contract drawings.
• Coordinate with multi-disciplinary personnel, sub-consultants, utilities, equipment vendors and clients.
• Work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
