Job summary

Weston & Sampson is seeking a mid-career Mechanical Engineer with 5–15 years of experience to join our Mechanical HVAC and Plumbing team in a New England office. The role involves producing contract drawings and coordinating with diverse teams on private, public, federal, and municipal projects.

The ideal candidate will have a Massachusetts Building Code background, Revit and AutoCAD proficiency, and the ability to work independently or as part of a larger team.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills (oral and written).
• BS in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• PE license or ability to obtain PE in any state in the United States.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant plumbing, fire protection, mechanical design and/or energy experience.

Responsibilities

• Engineering and design documentation for new and renovation projects across facility types (private, public, federal, municipal).
• Design will include field investigations, shop drawing review, reports, and contract drawings production.
• Coordinate with multi-disciplinary personnel, sub-consultants, utility companies, equipment vendors and clients.
