Job summary

Johnson Controls, Inc. is seeking a Life Safety Systems Sales Representative, FIRE Electronic, to promote Fire Safety/Fire Alarm systems to contractor customers and end users within an assigned territory.

You will represent the company in a professional manner and drive new business in line with plans and budgets. The role requires developing sales strategies, delivering seminars and proposals, and maintaining ongoing account relationships to meet quarterly quotas.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years successful sales experience in Electronic Systems or similar.
• Must acquire licenses required by national, state and local codes.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for customer engagement.
• Experience reading blueprints and wiring diagrams is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Establish contact with prospects and qualify potential buyers by scheduling calls and following up on leads.
• Develop a sales strategy to convey product offerings and manage opportunities within the territory.
• Conduct seminars and demonstrations to develop and qualify leads.
• Prepare proposals, make presentations, and follow up to close sales.
• Coordinate with district operations to improve service delivery.
• Deliver sales against an assigned quota.
• Maintain accounts through regular customer contact and reporting metrics.
