Job summary

Johnson Controls Florida seeks a Life Safety Systems Sales Executive, Electronic to promote fire safety solutions across an assigned territory while building a disciplined pipeline and closing deals that deliver value for customers and Johnson Controls. You will develop sales strategies, conduct demonstrations, prepare proposals, and maintain key accounts while meeting quota and advancing safety goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in marketing, business, or engineering is required or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of five years of successful sales experience in electronic or a similar industry.
• Ability to identify and qualify opportunities, persuade and close sales, and manage client relationships.
• Licensing as required by national, state, and local codes; reading blueprints and wiring diagrams is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication, self-motivation, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Establish contact with prospects, qualify buyers, and schedule sales calls.
• Develop a sales strategy, maintain territory records, and prioritize opportunities.
• Conduct seminars and demonstrations to generate and qualify leads.
• Prepare proposals, presentations, and financial justifications to close sales.
• Interface with district operations to support service delivery and meet quotas.
• Maintain accounts with regular customer contact to support follow-on sales.
• Report progress with weekly/monthly metrics to operations and corporate teams.
• Participate in trade shows and events to grow sales and enhance Johnson Controls image.
