Pye-Barker Fire & Safety is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to build and maintain relationships with customers and clients, driving sales of fire, life safety and security products and services.

The role focuses on identifying prospective customers, following up on leads, and developing new business while maintaining existing accounts. Excellent communication and negotiation skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sales, Business, or related field OR
• one year of related sales experience required.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Excellent sales and negotiation skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Responsibilities

• Builds and maintains a network of sources from which to identify new sales leads.
• Focused on new business generation.
• Prospecting, cold outreach, networking, and territory development.
• Focused on new business generation. Focused on our Test & Inspect and Monitoring services
• Ensures customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management; resolves any issues that may arise post-sale.
• Maintains detailed reports of sales activities including calls, orders, sales, lost business, and any customer or vendor relationship problems.
