Job summary

Pye-Barker Fire & Safety is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to sell products and services to current and new clients. You will grow sales by developing relationships, following up on leads, and identifying opportunities across your territory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sales, Business or related field, or 5+ years related experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Excellent sales and negotiation skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Responsibilities

• Builds and maintains a network of sources to identify new sales leads.
• Communicates with customers to identify product needs and suggest solutions.
• Demonstrates product functions and benefits based on customer needs.
• Maintains customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management.
• Keeps existing and previous customers informed about new products and services.
• Maintains detailed reports of sales activities and customer issues.
• Provides periodic territory sales forecasts.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
