Job summary

Pye-Barker Fire & Safety, LLC is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to sell our fire, life safety and security products to current and new customers across the region.

You will build relationships, identify needs, demonstrate products, and drive revenue through effective follow-up and reporting. This role requires strong communication, negotiation skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment; some travel is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sales, Business, or related field OR 5+ years of related experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Excellent sales and negotiation skills.
• Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to function well in a high-paced and sometimes stressful environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Responsibilities

• Builds and maintains a network of sources to identify new sales leads.
• Communicates with customers to identify needs and suggests products and services.
• Demonstrates product functions to customers based on their needs.
• Maintains customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management.
• Maintains reports of sales activities and provides territory forecasts.
• Performs other duties as assigned by management.
