Job summary

Dinges Fire Company is seeking self-driven sales professionals to plan and manage accounts in designated territories. You will build relationships with Fire and EMT decision-makers and drive sales through inquiries, proposals, and follow-ups.

All positions are 1099 independent contractors with commissions based on 40% of gross profit. Many reps are firefighters, leveraging product knowledge to grow their territory as a primary or strong secondary income.

Qualifications

• Must have knowledge of fire service equipment and tools.
• Familiarity with basic computer applications and software.
• Understanding of customer service principles.
• Appreciation of basic business principles.

Responsibilities

• Prepare sales action plans and strategies.
• Schedule sales activity and calls to customers.
• Develop and present proposals to clients.
• Respond to inquiries by phone, email or in person.
• Negotiate and close sales to achieve targets.
• Maintain customer relationships and follow up on activities.
• Monitor sales activities and report to management.
• Participate in sales events and training.
