Job summary

Dinges Fire Company is seeking self-motivated sales professionals to plan and execute sales activities on assigned accounts in the fire service market. This 1099 role pays entirely on commission and rewards independent territory ownership.

Previous experience as a firefighter or EMS personnel is preferred to leverage product knowledge, with opportunities to work full-time or as a strong second income; strong communication and negotiation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Firefighter/EMS experience preferred to leverage product knowledge.
• Knowledge of fire service equipment and tools desired.

Responsibilities

• prepare sales action plans and strategies
• schedule sales activity
• make sales calls to new and existing customers
• develop and present company products and services to clients
• negotiate with clients
• develop sales proposals
• respond to inquiries and concerns
• ensure customer service satisfaction and good client relationships
• follow up on sales activity
• monitor and report on sales activities and follow up for management
• participate in sales events and training
