AgileEngine, LLC. in Boca Raton, FL is seeking a Senior FinOps Analyst to guide cloud cost strategy for engineering teams. You will advise on spend optimization, monitor anomalies, and collaborate across R&D to align forecasts with budgets.

You will own monthly cost reviews, produce written analyses, and help educate teams on cost awareness. The role requires APAC hours and overlap with PST/CST.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of FinOps experience.
• Strong cloud cost management and optimization expertise.
• Ability to investigate spend anomalies and produce root-cause analyses.
• Experience advising R&D/engineering teams.
• Cloud cost forecasting experience with alignment to team projections.
• Familiarity with OpenAI/LLM cost drivers and monitoring spend.
• Cost modeling and team investment tracking.
• Proficiency with Jira and Slack.
• Maintain technical documentation/wiki spaces and Showback reporting.
• Strong written and verbal communication for stakeholders.
• Availability to cover APAC hours with PST/CST overlap.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for R&D teams seeking cloud cost guidance via Slack and other channels.
• Conduct proactive engagement with APAC-based colleagues to review monthly cloud spending and surface cost opportunities.
• Monitor cloud/AI spend for anomalies and provide root-cause analyses and optimization recommendations.
• Participate in monthly forecasting and align central forecasts with team-level projections.
• Contribute cost-driver insights to showback reports and team meetings.
• Support Cost Awareness and update the wiki with relevant information.
• Model team cost projections and respond to requests via Slack/email.
