Job summary

Soho House is seeking a Server responsible for understanding and educating members and guests on menu items and allergens, while delivering an elevated experience per Soho House Service Standards. You will enter orders into POS, support FOH and BOH collaboration, and maintain a positive, flexible attitude under pressure.

A successful candidate will engage guests, promote food and drink pairings, and uphold health and safety policies throughout service.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2+ years' experience in similar capacity.
• Thrive in fast-paced, high-volume environments and maintain calm under pressure.
• Hospitable, approachable, passionate about customer service and respectful toward colleagues and guests.
• Must be able to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to take direction, work in a team environment and autonomously.
• Tips certified and POS knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain professional relationships with coworkers and management.
• Elevate the dining experience with food and drink pairing options and drive sales.
• Advise on allergies and red flags to mitigate risk.
• Complete all checkout reports at end of shift and have them signed by management.
• Adhere to health and safety policies and all company policies and laws.
• Ensure orders are plated and served correctly to members/guests.
• Assist runners and bussers with tickets to support all orders.
• Clean and stock server area; polish silverware and glassware.
• Know the menu to make recommendations to members/guests.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager.
