Job summary

Soho House is seeking a professional Server to educate members and guests on the menu, allergies, and Soho House Service Standards. The role focuses on delivering an elevated guest experience, collaborating with FOH/BOH teams, and performing pre/post-service duties with accurate order entry in the POS system.

The Server must maintain a positive attitude, be detail oriented, and adaptable under pressure while upholding health and safety policies and Soho House standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2+ years’ experience in similar capacity.
• Thrive in fast-paced, high-volume environments and maintain calm under pressure.
• Must be hospitable, approachable, passionate about customer service and respectful towards colleagues and guests.
• Must demonstrate competency as outlined in the training schedule and Club School.
• Must be able to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to take direction, work in a team environment and autonomously.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain professional relationships with coworkers and management and complete checklists on trained processes.
• Elevate the dining experience with food and drink pairing options and discuss specials to drive sales.
• Maintain communication with Management and Executive Chef on allergies or red flags.
• Complete all check out reports and have them signed by management.
• Adhere to health and safety policies and company procedures and laws.
• Ensure orders are plated and served correctly to members/guests.
• Assist runners and bussers with expo and service bar tickets as needed.
• Clean and stock server area, polish silverware and glassware.
• Know the menu to make suggestions to members/guests.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager.
