Job summary

Teradata is seeking a senior sales professional to join our Financial Services team in the United States. You will drive end-to-end sales cycles, engage in strategic account planning, and work with inside sales and partners to close opportunities.

You will manage complex deals, forecast accurately, and articulate Teradata's data analytics capabilities to C-suite executives, aligning Teradata solutions with client business goals.

Qualifications

• Requires six or more years of quota-carrying sales or related customer interaction role.
• Proven track record in closing sales and converting leads into customers.
• Experience using CRM applications to document opportunities and forecast.

Responsibilities

• Sell Teradata solutions into financial services target accounts while meeting targets.
• Manage complex deal cycles with accurate forecasting and CRM updates.
• Set and maintain account strategy for client engagement.
• Drive direct and partner sales to grow business.
• Understand client initiatives, tech stack, and competitive landscape.
• Articulate value of Teradata solutions to C-suite and stakeholders.
• Close sales across hardware, software, and services.
• Lead account team and coordinate internal resources.
• Build relationships with client decision-makers and escalate high-priority issues.
• Maintain knowledge of Teradata products and competitive offerings.
