Job summary

EY is seeking a Manager, Finance Transformation to lead large-scale finance programs for the Power & Utilities sector in the United States. You will co-create strategies, design future-proof operating models, and drive improvements across FP&A, accounting, consolidation, and reporting.

You will work with senior leaders on implementing PowerPlan integrations, automation, and shared-services designs while managing timelines and client engagements. Expect significant travel (60–80%).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (4-year degree).
• 2–4 years relevant consulting and Power & Utilities experience.
• Experience with P&U finance functions and SAP, Oracle, and PowerPlan.
• Business case development.
• Digital strategy.
• Finance compliance and regulation awareness.
• Finance quality, maturity, efficiency and operational risk assessment.
• Finance strategy, operating model and transformation roadmap.
• Finance sustainability.

Responsibilities

• Lead PowerPlan implementation and ERP/EAM integrations.
• Design finance operating models.
• Improve finance processes and controls.
• Design shared services and global delivery.
• Provide outsourcing advisory.
• Lead FP&A activities.
• Oversee finance systems and intelligent automation.
• Manage close, consolidation and reporting.
• Cost management and profitability analysis.
• Oversee procure-to-pay and record-to-report processes.
• Oversee asset and project accounting.
• Understand utility billing to cash via CIS, GLs.
• FERC reporting intersections with GAAP.
• Define and execute key deliverables and timelines.
• Engage with clients; lead working sessions.
• Travel 60-80% as needed.
