Job summary

EY is seeking a Manager, Finance Transformation in the Power & Utilities sector. You will work with senior leaders on sustainable finance initiatives, designing future-proof operating models and leading transformation programs to deliver long-term business value.

You will collaborate across ERP/PowerPlan, drive FP&A, close and reporting improvements, and oversee shared services and outsourcing advisory. Expect significant client-facing work and travel up to 60–80%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Typically 2–4 years in consulting and power & utilities.
• Experience with P&U finance functions and SAP/Oracle/PowerPlan.

Responsibilities

• PowerPlan implementation and integration with ERP and EAM systems.
• Finance operating model design and improvement.
• Shared services and global business services design and implementation.
• Outsourcing advisory.
• FP&A activities including planning and analysis.
• Finance systems and intelligent automation.
• Close, consolidation and reporting processes.
• Cost management and profitability analysis.
• Procure-to-pay and record-to-report processes.
• Asset and project accounting.
• Familiarity with CIS and GL interconnections.
• Understand utility rate structures and revenue models.
• Understanding power transmission/distribution finance drivers and GAAP/FERC alignment.
• Define and execute deliverables; manage timelines; engage with clients.
