Cherry Bekaert LLP in Tysons, VA is seeking a Finance Transformation, Accounting Advisory Manager to lead engagements that improve finance operations, drive process modernization, and deliver measurable business value.

You will manage client delivery, mentor teams, work with ERP and analytics tools, and partner with cross-functional advisory teams; travel to client sites 25–40% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field required.
• CPA, MBA, or other relevant professional certification preferred.
• 6+ years of experience in public accounting, consulting, finance transformation, accounting advisory, or a combination of consulting and industry finance experience.
• Experience leading workstreams or managing project teams within finance transformation, accounting advisory, or business process improvement engagements.
• Strong knowledge of finance and accounting processes, including Lead-to-Cash, Source-to-Pay, Record-to-Report, FP&A.
• Experience conducting operational and financial assessments and developing actionable solutions.
• Understanding of finance operating models, process improvement methodologies, and transformation frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems, financial reporting tools, automation platforms, and data analytics solutions.
• Strong project management, organizational, communication, and presentation skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality client service in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Willingness to travel as needed, approximately 25-40%.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day execution of finance transformation and accounting advisory engagements.
• Manage project workplans, budgets, timelines, deliverables, and client expectations.
• Conduct assessments of finance operations, processes, controls, and organizational structures.
• Analyze current-state finance processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and scalability.
• Support transformation initiatives across key finance functions, including Lead-to-Cash, Source-to-Pay, Record-to-Report, FP&A.
• Develop recommendations, process improvements, and implementation roadmaps based on client needs and objectives.
• Facilitate client workshops, process-mapping sessions, and stakeholder interviews.
• Assist clients with process redesign, operating model improvements, and technology-enabled transformation initiatives.
• Collaborate with technology, risk, tax, audit, and other advisory teams to support integrated client solutions.
• Identify project risks and issues and develop mitigation plans to ensure successful engagement outcomes.
