Job summary

Cherry Bekaert LLP seeks a Finance Transformation, Accounting Advisory Manager to lead and deliver engagements that improve finance operations and transform processes. You will partner with client stakeholders, guide engagements, and drive practical solutions that create value while mentoring Senior Associates and Consultants.

You will manage workplans, budgets, and timelines, oversee risk, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality results. Travel of ~25-40% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field required.
• CPA, MBA, or other relevant certification preferred.
• 6+ years of experience in public accounting, consulting, finance transformation, accounting advisory, or related roles.
• Experience leading workstreams or managing project teams within finance transformation or process improvement engagements.
• Strong knowledge of Lead-to-Cash, Source-to-Pay, Record-to-Report, FP&A.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day execution of finance transformation and accounting advisory engagements.
• Manage project workplans, budgets, timelines, deliverables, and client expectations.
• Assess finance operations, processes, controls, and org structures.
• Analyze current-state processes and identify efficiency improvements.
• Develop recommendations and roadmaps for client needs and objectives.
• Facilitate workshops, process-mapping sessions, and stakeholder interviews.
• Collaborate with ERP, risk, tax, audit, and other advisory teams.
