Job summary

The University Enterprises, Inc. (UEI) in the CSU Sacramento campus is seeking a Financial Transaction Manager to lead AR, AP, and cash receipts within the Business Services Division. The role ensures GAAP-compliant financial reporting for internal and external stakeholders and supervises the AP/AR teams.

Responsibilities include invoicing, collections, tax compliance, vendor payments, ACH optimization, and system automation. Hybrid work with on-campus presence initially.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field or equivalent.
• Experience planning, organizing and supervising AR and AP teams.
• Experience with automated processes and reporting.
• Ability to prepare financial statements and reports using spreadsheets.
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-dayAR and AP operations; supervise staff and ensure policy compliance.
• Direct invoicing, collections, tax compliance, cost allocation and reviews.
• Oversee vendor payments, terms, ACH disbursements and payable automation.
• Assist Controller with GASB 87 lease accounting and quarterly reports.
• Lead financial software implementation and post-implementation support.
