University of Central Florida (UCF) seeks an experienced Accounting Manager to lead student financial cashiering services, in-person and email customer service, and custody of campus cash and checks. You will direct a team, drive financial reporting, and ensure compliance with PCI and Florida statutes.

The role is on-site at UCF with a focus on high-volume operations, audits, and strategic process improvements to support Knight Nation and the university's financial goals.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's or Master's degree and 4+ years of relevant experience.
• Advanced degree in Accounting/Finance/Business preferred.
• Experience in accounting or financial operations in higher education/public sector.
• Experience managing financial reporting and reconciliations in enterprise systems (Oracle PeopleSoft or Workday).
• Proven ability to develop and implement internal controls and audit responses.

Aufgaben

• Directs and manages main depository account operations with high-volume deposits.
• Hires, trains, coaches, and evaluates staff direct reports.
• Directs and manages preparation of daily, monthly, and annual financial reports and reconciliations.
• Manages cashiering offices, cash/check/wire deposits, and general ledger reviews.
• Develops and implements strategic goals and operational plans; ensures internal controls.
