Job summary

Troutman Pepper seeks a Finance Manager to lead the finance team, overseeing daily operations and delivering timely financial reporting and analysis for the firm, offices, and practice groups.

You will drive budgeting, forecasting, KPI reporting, and process improvements, partnering with Accounting and IT to ensure data integrity and empower senior leadership with actionable insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related business discipline.
• Minimum eight (8) years in finance, FP&A, or related analytical roles, preferably in law firm or professional services.
• Minimum four (4) years of experience leading or supervising analysts or similar staff.
• Advanced proficiency in financial analysis, internal reporting, and variance analysis.
• Advanced proficiency with ERP/GL, Time & Billing systems; BI tools such as Power BI and Tableau.

Responsibilities

• Lead the daily operations of the finance team (Senior Analysts, Coordinators).
• Develop and maintain financial and statistical models for forecasting and headcount planning.
• Prepare materials and analyses for senior leadership, including dashboards and executive summaries.
• Oversee internal reporting for firm-wide performance, offices, and practice groups; ensure data integrity.
• Drive finance transformation and automation, partnering with Accounting and IT.
• Provide coaching and performance feedback to team members; support professional development.
