Job summary

Crusoe is seeking a finance-focused professional to own the economic thinking behind gaps between committed capacity and actual usage in our data center operations. You will size opportunities, quantify value, and decide how much capacity can be monetized or reclaimed with managed risk.

You’ll collaborate with Capacity Planning, Product Management, and legal to understand constraints and translate models into clear financial guidance, shaping durable frameworks for ongoing opportunities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in financial planning, corporate finance, or capital allocation.
• Comfort with probabilistic thinking, distributions, and expected value.
• Technical curiosity to learn infrastructure concepts quickly.
• SQL proficiency to pull and validate data.
• Experience partnering with Product Management on pricing or product decisions.
• Contract fluency to work through existing customer agreements.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities where built or committed data center capacity, power, or compute isn’t converting to revenue.
• Partner with Capacity Planning, Product Management, and deal desk or legal to understand constraints behind each opportunity.
• Translate probabilistic or technical models into financial terms: expected value, risk, and recommended actions.
• Make calls on risk levels and defend those calls to stakeholders across engineering, product, and leadership.
• Build durable financial frameworks for opportunities and handle live decisions on active initiatives.
