Job summary

Crusoe is seeking a senior financial professional to own the economic thinking around capacity gaps in data center assets. You will size opportunities, quantify risk, and guide monetization and reclamation decisions while partnering with capacity planning, product, and legal teams.

You will build durable financial frameworks for opportunities and support live decisions on deals in motion, balancing risk and return in a fast-paced infrastructure environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in financial planning, corporate finance, or capital allocation in capital-intensive settings.
• Comfort with probabilistic thinking, distributions, and expected value to work with technical models.
• Technical curiosity to learn unfamiliar infrastructure concepts quickly.
• SQL proficiency to pull and validate data independently.
• Experience partnering with Product Management on pricing or product decisions.
• Enough contract fluency to navigate customer agreements.
• Ability to operate under pressure with stakeholders demanding speed vs. risk.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities where built or committed data center capacity isn’t translating to revenue.
• Collaborate with Capacity Planning, Product Management, and deal desk or legal to understand constraints behind each opportunity.
• Translate probabilistic or technical models into financial terms: expected value, risk, and recommended actions.
• Assess risk levels and defend proposed actions to engineers, product teams, and leadership.
• Create durable, scalable financial frameworks for opportunities once proven, while managing active deals.
