Job summary

Crusoe is seeking a Director of Construction & Data Center Operations Finance to own financial oversight for capital projects from groundbreaking through energization and live operations. You’ll manage budgets, cost control, draw management, and reporting across build phases and into ongoing operations, partnering with treasury, legal, procurement, and facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, construction management, engineering required
• MBA or CPA a plus
• 8+ years in construction finance, project controls, or related fields
• Experience with large capital projects ($100M+) and data-center/facilities finance preferred
• Strong financial modeling and cost-tracking skills
• Excellent cross-functional collaboration with construction, legal, procurement, and accounting teams

Responsibilities

• Own budgeting, cost control, and TIC estimation for campuses and projects from approval to live operation
• Manage draw processes and ensure compliance with loan agreements and funding covenants
• Review GC/EPC contracts and major vendor agreements; advise on payment terms and risk allocation
• Maintain portfolio-level view of cost, schedule, and funding; provide reporting for leadership and lenders
• Oversee transition of costs to operating finance post-commissioning; support Opex and KPI reporting
• Collaborate with construction management, development, data center operations, and accounting on cost/funding decisions
