Job summary

Crusoe is seeking a Director of Finance to lead financial analytics and project costing for our data center build portfolio. You will partner with Data Center Construction and Development to establish cost structures, benchmarks, forecasting methods, and performance reporting.

Own the financial view across the build lifecycle—from estimates to completion—and build a cost intelligence capability to guide capital deployment, design choices, and operational cost outcomes.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in construction finance, project controls, or capital projects
• Experience managing $100M+ capital project budgets
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, construction management, engineering or related field; MBA/CPA a plus
• Excellent cross‑functional collaboration with construction managers, GCs, and internal finance teams

Responsibilities

• Develop a consistent cost taxonomy and framework across data center builds
• Own the EAC framework and forecast with project controls
• Analyze variance against budget, baseline estimates, and benchmarks
• Build the cost intelligence capability to guide capital deployment decisions
• Collaborate with estimating, construction, engineering, procurement and development teams
• Create portfolio-level cost visibility with standardized reporting for leadership
• Translate project EACs and schedules into capital and cash forecasts
• Provide financial analysis for major design changes, procurement decisions and scheduling impacts
• Define data sources and reporting architecture for cost analytics
