Crusoe is seeking a data-driven finance professional to own the economic thinking behind data center capacity gaps. You will quantify value, assess risk, and guide monetization decisions across engineering, product, and leadership.

This role blends financial modeling with strategic risk-taking in a rapidly evolving AI infrastructure landscape. You’ll collaborate withCapacity Planning, Product Management, and deal desk to translate technical concepts into actionable financial recommendations,

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in financial planning, corporate finance, or capital allocation in capital-intensive settings.
• Comfort with probabilistic thinking and models built by others.
• Technical curiosity to learn infrastructure concepts quickly.
• SQL proficiency to pull and validate data independently.
• Experience partnering with Product Management on pricing or product decisions.
• Knowledge of contract fluency to interpret existing customer agreements.
• Ability to handle pressure from stakeholders while balancing risk.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities where built or committed data center capacity isn’t converting to revenue.
• Partner with Capacity Planning, Product Management, and legal to understand constraints.
• Translate probabilistic/technical models into financial terms (EV, risk, action).
• Make calls on risk levels and defend them to stakeholders across teams.
• Build durable financial frameworks for opportunities and adapt to ongoing decisions.
