Job summary

Crusoe is seeking a finance-focused teammate to own the economic thinking behind capacity utilization, monetization, and risk management for data-center assets. You’ll quantify opportunities where built capacity and commitments exceed actual use and translate these insights into actionable strategies with engineering, product, and leadership collaboration.

The role emphasizes calculating expected value, risk, and recommended actions, while shaping cash flow models and pricing considerations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in financial planning, corporate finance, or capital allocation in capital-intensive environments.
• Comfort with probabilistic thinking, distributions, and risk considerations.
• Technical curiosity to learn infrastructure concepts quickly.
• SQL or similar data-pulling skills to validate data independently.
• Experience partnering with Product Management on pricing or product decisions.
• Ability to navigate contract terms and customer agreements.

Responsibilities

• Identify and size opportunities where capacity or resources aren’t converting to revenue.
• Collaborate with Capacity Planning, Product Management, and legal to understand constraints.
• Translate probabilistic/technical models into financial terms and actions.
• Decide on risk levels and defend decisions to engineering and leadership.
• Build durable financial frameworks for opportunities once proven.
