Qualifications

• 1 year experience in the automobile field with customer service background
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
• Ability to work outside in the elements for extended periods
• Problem solving aptitude to meet challenges with resourcefulness
• Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision while in a team
• Excellent communicator with ability to understand customer needs and expectations
• Valid driver's license with registered and insured vehicle
• Knowledge of system capabilities and web-based applications
• Ability to perform manual labor (standing long periods, lifting 25 lbs+, bending, squatting)
• Ability to drive a manual and automatic transmission
• Vision to identify small defects around and underneath vehicles

Responsibilities

• Actively support efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience
• Inspect vehicles at dealerships, auctions, and off-lease to detect damage and mechanical problems
• Prepare and submit reports of vehicle condition and cost estimates
• Assist sales team with upsell or cross-sell opportunities
• Interface with dealers to ensure client satisfaction and build relationships
• Travel to dealerships and homes to inspect and write condition reports
• Take multiple photos and upload them to the image server
• List inspected wholesale vehicles on ACV Auctions platform for bidding/purchasing
• Sign up independent dealerships as buyers on the platform
• Perform additional duties as assigned
