Job summary

ACV Auctions is seeking an enthusiastic Inspector who loves cars and wants to join a growing company. Inspectors are the face of the company, knowledgeable about cars, and able to explain details to clients clearly.

Responsibilities include inspecting vehicles at dealerships/auctions/off-lease, preparing condition reports and repair estimates, and helping the sales team with upselling services. Travel to sites is required to inspect and list vehicles for sale on the platform.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience in automobile field with customer service background.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Ability to work outside in the elements for extended periods.
• Problem-solving ability and resourcefulness.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication to understand customer needs.

Responsibilities

• Support efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
• Inspect vehicles at dealerships, auctions, and off-lease to detect damage and mechanical problems.
• Prepare and submit reports of vehicle condition and repair estimates.
• Assist sales team with upselling or cross-selling services and products.
• Interact with dealers to ensure client satisfaction and build relationships.
• Travel to dealerships and homes to inspect, write reports, and list vehicles for sale.
