Job summary

ACV Auctions is seeking an enthusiastic Inspector to inspect vehicles at dealerships, auctions, and off-lease sites. You will document vehicle condition with photos, generate cost estimates, and support the sales team in conveying value to customers.

The role requires driving, strong communication, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Travel will be required to various dealer locations across the region.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience in the automobile field with customer service background.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Valid driver’s license and insured vehicle.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and perform standing tasks for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections of vehicles at dealerships, auctions, and off-lease.
• Prepare and submit condition reports and repair cost estimates.
• Capture and organize vehicle photos and upload to the image server.
• Travel regularly to various locations to inspect and report vehicle condition.
• Assist sales team with up-sell or cross-sell opportunities.
• Maintain regular communication with dealers to ensure client satisfaction.
