Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker is seeking a Trades Specialist to join our Commercial Construction field sales team. You will work in the Alabama/Florida Panhandle territory, driving sales of DEWALT and other leading brands to end-user customers.

You will establish key relationships, mentor regional teams on end-user development, and coordinate with Channel Marketing. A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is preferred, with travel up to 50%.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of sales or marketing experience in construction supplies with a proven track record delivering results.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Marketing, or a related field preferred (relevant experience may substitute).
• Strong interpersonal, negotiation, problem-solving, verbal and written communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel up to 50% within territory.

Responsibilities

• Achieve top-line sales targets by selling DEWALT PTE, HTAS, STANLEY, LENOX, IRWIN, BOSTITCH, PORTERCABLE brands to end-user customers.
• Establish and maintain relationships with end-user partners; manage CORE and other user contracts and programs.
• Mentor local market team on End User development, contact points, and purchasing processes; align efforts with field teams and partners.
• Partner with Channel Marketing to implement and coordinate marketing initiatives; use Salesforce CRM and planning tools.
