Job summary

ViaPath is seeking a Telecommunication Technician 3 to join the Field Services team. Based at client site in Marion, OH, you will perform remedial repair, preventive maintenance, and system reliability services across an assigned territory.

Travel to other sites as needed is expected. The role requires installation and maintenance of telephony hardware, networking components, and kiosk service operations, with a focus on service excellence and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2-4 years of related field experience.
• Experience troubleshooting and problem solving.
• Proficient with Windows OS, MS Office, and networking.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and ability to travel to multiple sites.

Responsibilities

• Provide remedial repair, preventive maintenance, and system reliability services.
• Install telephony hardware and network components at customer sites.
• Administer kiosk service and collections, including deposits.
• Escalate problems when appropriate and communicate updates.
• Troubleshoot video visitation issues and tablet/Wi‑Fi problems.
• Return damaged equipment per RMAs and uphold safety standards.
