Job summary

ViaPath is seeking a Telecommunication Technician 3 (Site Admin Technician 3) to join the Field Services team. This part-time role is based at Dover, NH, with travel to additional sites and 20 hours per week.

The Technician will provide remedial repair, preventive maintenance, and system reliability services under the Field Service Manager, largely independently. A valid driver’s license and 2–4 years of experience are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum of 2-4 years of related experience.
• Experience troubleshooting, ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Proficient in Windows OS, MS Office, and other software programs that may be required.
• Proficient with Telephony and Networking, inclusive of copper, CAT 5/6, and fiber optic wiring.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and be willing to travel to various customer sites daily.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a positive ambassador for ViaPath with customers and clients.
• Provide overall service at assigned customer sites and assist the customer as needed.
• Prioritize and plan service calls and communicate updates.
• Replace telephony hardware and network components; pull cable and install devices.
• Administer kiosk service, collections, and deposits at financial institutions.
• Conduct basic troubleshooting and escalate when necessary.
• Handle overtime and travel as part of the job.
