Job summary

Cable One’s Sparklight Field Technician role trains you through hands-on sessions and mentoring, with a company truck and uniforms provided. You’ll perform installs, diagnose performance issues, and guide customers on upgrading services, while contributing to a reliable network for residential and business customers.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Willing to overtime and on-call as needed.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and work on a ladder.
• At least 3 months of customer service or related experience or training.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Regular and predictable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Install customer service drops or outlets in residential and business properties.
• Use electronic test equipment and online diagnostic tools to troubleshoot and repair issues.
• Ensure proper upstream and downstream signal levels at terminations.
• Educate customers on new/existing equipment and potential upgrades.
• Participate in other duties to support company values and goals.
