Job summary

Sparklight, a Cable One brand, is seeking a Field Technician to install services in residential and commercial properties, perform repairs, and relocate equipment to keep customers connected.

You will use RF and diagnostic tools to troubleshoot service drops, verify signal levels, and educate customers on equipment. This on-site role requires a valid driver’s license, a high school diploma or GED, and a commitment to safety and customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 3 months of customer service or related experience.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and work in confined spaces.
• Willingness to work overtime and on-call as needed.

Responsibilities

• Install customer service drops or outlets in residential and commercial properties.
• Use RF, digital and Volt-Ohm meters to troubleshoot and diagnose issues.
• Ensure proper upstream and downstream signal levels at each termination.
• Educate customers on use of equipment and potential upgrades.
