Job summary

Sparklight, a Cable One brand, seeks a Field Technician to install and repair services at residential and commercial sites. You will troubleshoot with RF meters, diagnose signal issues, and ensure correct upstream/downstream levels while guiding customers on equipment use.

You will need a valid driver’s license, be willing to work overtime/on-call, and communicate solutions clearly to customers in diverse environments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required and valid driver’s license.
• Ability to learn RF, digital and volt-ohm meters to diagnose signals.
• Willingness to work overtime and on-call as needed.
• Strong problem-solving and customer communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Install services in residential and commercial properties.
• Complete repairs and relocate existing equipment.
• Troubleshoot with RF tools and online diagnostics.
• Ensure proper upstream/downstream signal levels at the premises.
• Educate customers on equipment use and potential upgrades.
