Job summary

Cable One is hiring a Field Technician to install and service customer connections in residential and business locations. You’ll receive extensive training, with mentorship across the company, and a company truck and tools to perform the job.

Uniforms are provided to ensure readiness on day one. The role emphasizes problem solving, customer interaction, and ongoing learning, with a focus on delivering reliable service and upgrading customer experiences.

Qualifications

• 3+ months of customer service or related experience or training.
• High school diploma or GED required; equivalent combinations of education and experience acceptable.
• Good driving record and a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs, climb ladders, and work in all weather conditions.
• Willingness to work overtime and on-call as needed.
• Regular and predictable attendance is required.
• Able to work in small, confined areas.

Responsibilities

• Install customer service drops or outlets in residential and business properties.
• Use electronic test equipment and diagnostic tools to troubleshoot and repair issues.
• Ensure proper upstream/downstream signal levels at terminations on customer premises.
• Educate customers on new/existing equipment and possible upgrades.
• Take on other duties to support company goals.
