Job summary

Lumen Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Field Technician II to maintain and restore network services across assigned areas.

You will work from a home base in a company vehicle, traveling to multiple network sites within your territory to build expertise and contribute to reliable service. The role requires at least a high school diploma, 2 years in telecom or field tech, and experience with fiber optics and OTDR testing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant telecommunications or field technical experience.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing network equipment.
• Knowledge of fiber optic networks and OTDR testing.

Responsibilities

• Respond to network outages and restore service.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain telecommunications and network infrastructure equipment.
• Perform OTDR and other network testing to identify issues.
• Provide smart hands support at remote network sites.
• Document work activities and use Microsoft Office tools for communication and administration.
