Job summary

Sparklight, a Cable One brand, is hiring a Field Technician to install services, perform repairs, and relocate equipment for customers in the community. You will use RF and test equipment to diagnose issues and ensure optimal signal levels at customer premises.

This role requires a valid driver’s license, willingness to work overtime/on-call, and the ability to lift up to 100 lbs. Training is provided to learn the necessary hardware and tools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 3 months of customer service or related experience or training.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Connect customer service drops or outlets in residential and business properties.
• Use RF, digital, and Volt-Ohm meters to troubleshoot and resolve signal issues.
• Ensure proper upstream and downstream signal levels at terminations on the customer’s premises.
• Suggest upgrades and educate customers on equipment use.
• Perform other duties to support company goals.
