Job summary

Sparklight, a Cable One brand, seeks a Business Field Technician to install and repair residential and commercial services. You will connect customers to services, use EPON and fiber tech, and diagnose issues while maintaining quality and safety.

Applicants should have a good driving record, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to lift 80 lbs. Overtime may be required in this on-site role with company-provided tools and vehicle support.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ months customer service or related experience/training.
• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs, climb ladders, work in all weather conditions.
• Valid driver's license in state of residence.

Responsibilities

• Install customer service drops or outlets in residential and business properties.
• Use RF, fiber, switches, Ethernet, and WiFi access points.
• Troubleshoot reception performance issues using diagnostic tools.
• Ensure proper upstream/downstream signal levels at customer premises.
• Educate customers on equipment use and potential upgrades.
• Perform other duties to support Cable One objectives.
