Job summary

Cable One, Inc. is hiring a Sparklight Field Technician to install services in homes and businesses, perform repairs, and relocate equipment. You will use RF meters and diagnostic tools to troubleshoot problems and ensure optimal signal levels at each customer site.

You’ll educate customers on equipment use, work OT/on-call as needed, and support our community-focused brand values while adhering to safety and attendance standards.

Qualifications

• At least 3 months of customer service or related experience or training.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license and a good driving record in the state of application.
• Ability to work overtime and on-call as needed.
• Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs, climb ladders, and work in all weather.

Responsibilities

• Install services in residential and commercial properties.
• Complete repairs and relocate existing equipment.
• Troubleshoot with RF meters and diagnostic tools to resolve issues.
• Ensure proper upstream/downstream signal levels and educate customers.
• Take on additional duties to support company values and goals.
